What is BYOD?
The BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) trend is here and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. About 75% of businesses are allowing employees to use their own mobile devices at the office and it’s working. What is Android Printing?
As we said, over 60 All-in-Ones and printers now support Android Printing, the printing platform available in Android KitKat (version 4.4) and subsequent Android operating systems. With Android Printing, Android mobile users can print documents, photos, websites and emails without downloading a dedicated printing app. Over 60 new and legacy Epson Connect-enabled printers and All-in-Ones now offer built-in printing support for mobile devices from Android manufacturers (which includes Google, HTC, and Samsung).
What does Android Printing do?
With Android Printing, mobile users can find available printers, change paper sizes and choose specific pages to print. And after downloading the free Epson Print Enabler, users can print emails, photos, websites and documents to any compatible Epson printer model through Chrome, Google Drive, Gallery, Gmail, Photos and QuickOffice apps, as well as any new apps from Google Play.
Epson Connect mobile printing makes it easy for you to print anything you want from anywhere in the world using a compatible printer and your mobile device, iMac or PC.
