At BrockOA, we strive to provide you with the best innovation and technology available in the office automation world. We are proud authorized dealers of Sharp products and were excited to hear that on December 9, 2014, Sharp announced the launch of two new high-volume monochrome multifunctional printers: the MX-M654N and the MX-M754N. The MX-M654N delivers 65 ppm, while the MX-M754N delivers 75 ppm. Both systems are available from Brock Office Automation.

An MFP for large environments

The MX-M654N and MX-M754N feature Sharp’s latest technology and are designed for large workgroups and departmental environments with demanding workflow requirements.

Features to refine the user experience

These new models refine the user experience with Sharp Standards that include:

  • Sharp’s 10-inch diagonal tablet-style touch-screen display, which offers a user-friendly tablet-like interface that makes it easy to access features and functions when setting up scan, copy or fax jobs.
  • Hide-away QWERTY keyboard for file naming and addressing.
  • User dedicated USB 2.0 port for “scan to” and “print from”.
  • Wireless networking capability for access from mobile devices; enabling users to scan or print documents directly to the MFP using Sharpdesk Mobile, a free downloadable app for common mobile devices.
  • Sharp Open Systems Architecture technology, which provides expanded integration with network applications and cloud services.
  • Support for Sharp’s cloud-based content-management software service for storing and sharing scanned documents and other electronic files.
  • Document-finishing options include simple document sorting and stapling, as well as multi-folding and booklet making. A compact inner finisher will be released in the spring of 2015.
  • Sharp’s Security Package which features standard 256-bit data encryption and up to 10-times data-overwrite protection, PLUS a FREE End-of-Lease feature that erases all data, address books, and personal information recorded on the hard drive when the MFP is traded in or retired.
