Hot on the heels of their newest entry into the mobile printing world, Epson has followed up with a completely new series of large-format colour printers. For anyone requiring a machine that can print high quality, large format documents, the accuracy, versatility and cost-savings of these machines is great news!
The Epson Sure-Color T-Series incorporates the latest in printing technology to produce large-format prints that are unmatched in quality and precision. According to Epson America, Inc., the new series of printers was “designed based on feedback from customers who demand cost-effective, versatile and scalable printing solutions” that will meet the needs of professionals across a range of industries including, but not limited to, architecture, engineering, science and retail graphics.
Accurate & Fast
The T-Series printers can produce extreme accuracy in printed documents with resolutions of up to 2880 x 1440 dpi via an Epson PrecisionCore TFP Print Head, with print speeds ranging from 660 – 780 square feet per hour, depending on the selected model. Post-printing, Epson has streamlined sorting and stacking with horizontal, high capacity catch baskets that allow for quick retrieval of documents and faster sorting times. Users will also save space at their location without sacrificing capability as the new models use limited floor space but offer maximum print widths of 24, 36, and 44 inches.
Greater Versatility
Not only does the T-Series print in high resolution at exceptional speeds, some models offer an optional multifunction module that will allow users to scan and copy at the machine, in widths up to 36 inches, without connecting a PC. Epson also insures that your business can maximize productivity with the T-Series by including intuitive copy and scan-to-share capabilities that easily integrates into most existing applications and workflow software. All models include a full colour LCD panel with a simple button layout for ease of use, as well as an intuitive help system to assist users with the most frequent tasks performed. An optional 320GB print server can be added to quickly transfer jobs from workstations , add print queue management and reprint functionality, increasing your office’s productivity by incorporating more document management into one device.
This new series of large-format printers will also be able to support a huge range of media types in roll or cut-sheet to ensure your business can produce prints for any application.
Save on ink
To ensure that your business keeps printing costs low, Epson has designed the T-Series to accommodate three different ink cartridge sizes for each of the five colours it uses– Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Black, and Matte Black. The sizes available are 110 ml, 350 ml, and high-capacity 700 ml – all of which can be used interchangeably and are easily removed and replaced from the device’s front panel, saving you time and frustration when it’s time to change a cartridge. The series will exclusively use Epson UltraChrome XD ink, providing extremely smudge and water-resistant prints on pretty much any paper type.
Five Models
The SureColor T-Series encompasses five models that will fit the printing needs of businesses and professionals in a range of industries and offer multiple value-added features that lower the cost of ownership and increase productivity and efficiency. The T3270, T5270 and T7270 offer single roll capability for 24, 36, and 44inch media while the T5270D and T7270D models accommodate dual-roll media in 36 and 44 inch widths, respectively.
